Important – please read these terms carefully. By using this Service, you agree that you have read, understood, accepted, and agreed with these Terms and Conditions. You further agree to the representations made by yourself below. If you do not agree to or fall within the Terms and Conditions of the Service (as defined below) and wish to discontinue using the Service, please do not continue using this Application or Service.
The terms and conditions stated herein (collectively, the “Terms and Conditions” or this “Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between you and Vaidik Anusandhan Guthi Corporation (the “Company” or “VAG”), a public trust registered with the Land Revenue Office, Dilli Bazar, Kathmandu under Article 318 (1) of the Civil Code, 2074 BS.
In order to use the Services provided through the VAG App, the Dharmakarma App, vag.org.np, and dharmakarman.org (collectively, the "Application" or "Platform"), you hereby expressly acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and any future amendments and additions published from time to time by the Company.
The Company offers an information technology platform providing spiritual, religious, and astrological services, as well as an e-commerce platform for purchasing religious goods (e.g., Puja Samagri) and books.
The Company reserves the right to modify, vary, or change the terms and conditions of this Agreement or its policies relating to the Service at any time as it deems fit. Such modifications shall be effective upon the posting of an updated version on the Platform. You agree that it shall be your responsibility to review this Agreement regularly; continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your consent and acceptance.
The Company reserves the right to update, modify, change, or improve service categories based on field experience and stakeholder feedback. Users, merchants, and practitioners may provide feedback or suggestions, which the Company may use for future platform improvements.
THE COMPANY PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE, ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS, RITUAL BOOKINGS, AND RELIGIOUS LITERATURE. THE ASTROLOGICAL AND PREDICTIVE SERVICES PROVIDED VIA THE DHARMAKARMA APP ARE FOR SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS, AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
The Company is not liable for the inaccuracy of any astrological predictions or suggestions, nor does it carry liabilities against specific material, health, financial or legal outcomes from performing suggested rituals or pujas. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON THE PREDICTIONS OR GUIDANCE PROVIDED THROUGH THE PLATFORM ARE STRICTLY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Notwithstanding anything herein written, the Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, blacklist you permanently or temporarily and reject your request to use the Application and/or Service if you violate these terms. This includes, but is not limited to, fraudulent use of the platform, harassing our staff or collaborators or partners, attempting to bypass the payment system, or engaging in behaviors that damage the Company's reputation.
By using the Service, you expressly represent, warrant, undertake, and agree that:
You are at least four (16) years old and you possess explicit, verifiable parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
You have the right, authority, and capacity to use the Service and abide by these Terms.
All information you provide (including birth details for astrological charts, delivery addresses, and identity documents) is true, accurate, and complete.
You will only use the Service for lawful, personal purposes and will not authorize others to use your identity or user status.
You will not use the Application for sending or storing any unlawful material, or for fraudulent purposes.
You will not try to harm the Service, Application, or Software in any way, nor will you attempt to impair the proper operation of our network.
You will keep your account password and any identification we provide you secure and confidential.
You unconditionally agree to assume full responsibility and liability for all loss or damage suffered by yourself, the Company, merchants, or any third party as a result of any breach of the Terms and Conditions by you.
Intellectual Property Rights. As discussed in the Company’s Privacy Policy, incorporated herein, the Company owns all right, title and interest in and to the Services, the Company Data and Aggregated Data, including, without limitation, all intellectual property rights therein. Subject to the limited rights expressly granted to you under this Agreement and the Privacy Policy, the Company reserves all rights, title and interest in and to the Services, the Company Data and Aggregated Data, including, without limitation, all related intellectual property rights. The Company’s service marks, logos and product and service names are owned by the Company. You agree not to display or use any of the Company marks in any manner without the Company’s express prior written permission. In addition, any trademarks, service marks and logos associated with a Third Party Offering may be the property of the third party provider, and you should consult with their trademark guidelines before using any of their marks. Any information and data that you submit to the Website or in connection with the Services must not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. As specified in the Company’s Privacy Policy, you grant us a license to use your customer feedback in connection with providing the Services and for general marketing purposes, unless you notify us otherwise in writing.
The Company and its licensors hereby grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal, limited license to use the Application and/or Software, solely for your own personal purpose, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
You shall not:
License, sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the Application.
Modify or make derivative works based on the Application or its content.
Reverse engineer or access the Software to build a competitive product.
Launch automated programs, scripts, web spiders, crawlers, or bots that unduly burden the operation of the Application.
Post, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary information (including VAG's exclusive books and astrological algorithms) without prior written consent.
Any fees which the Company charges you for the Service (including premium astrological charts, ritual bookings, or e-commerce purchases) are due immediately.
Non-Refundable Policy: Service Fees are strictly non-refundable once the service has been rendered, regardless of your satisfaction with the outcome.
Physical Goods: For physical items (e.g., Puja Samagri, physical books), refunds or replacements will only be considered if the item is delivered in an undamaged or nondefective condition, and must be reported to the Company within 12 hours of delivery.
The Company may, at its sole discretion, make promotional offers with different features and different rates to any Users. The Company reserves the right to change the Service Fees at any time.
During your use of the Service, you may purchase goods (such as Puja Samagri) from third-party merchants listed on the VAG platform. Any such transaction is solely between you and the applicable third-party merchant.
The Company provides the platform to facilitate these transactions but disclaims any and all responsibility and/or liability arising from defective goods provided by third-party merchants. Any complaints regarding physical goods should first be directed to the merchant, though VAG will assist in facilitating a resolution where possible.
The Company places the highest priority on the confidentiality of your data. We strictly ensure that members' identities, birth details, and services remain confidential and are not utilized for any unauthorized purposes.
By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our Privacy Policy, which details how your Personal Data (including sensitive data such as religious beliefs or birth details) is collected, stored, used, and protected in compliance with the laws of Nepal.
You agree that you shall defend, indemnify, and hold the Company, its licensors, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, priests, astrologers, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Your violation or breach of any term of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law or regulation.
Your violation of any rights of any third party.
Your misuse of the Application, Software, or any advice/predictions received through the Service.
THE COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE AS TO THE RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, QUALITY, SUITABILITY, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICES. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, SPECIFICALLY REGARDING ASTROLOGICAL ACCURACY OR SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN “AS IS” BASIS. ALL CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, ECONOMIC, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY TYPE (INCLUDING EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS OR RITUALS.
ANY CLAIMS AGAINST THE COMPANY BY YOU SHALL IN ANY EVENT BE LIMITED TO THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF ALL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO SUCH CLAIM.
The Company may give notice by means of a general notice on the Application, electronic mail to your email address on record, or by written communication sent by registered mail to your address. You may give notice to the Company by email or registered mail to the contact details below:

Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to the choice or conflicts of law provisions. Any disputes, actions, claims, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Arbitration: If a dispute cannot be resolved through the courts, it shall be referred to arbitration in Kathmandu in accordance with the prevailing arbitration laws of Nepal, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties.
Severability: If any provision of the Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under the law.
Termination: You hereby agree that the Company is entitled to terminate this Agreement immediately in the event you are found to be in breach of any of the terms stipulated herein, without any obligation to compensate or reimburse you for unused platform credits.
